Rego Park Mixed-Use Apartment Building Roof Replacement — Building Overview

Building Overview

This property is a mixed-use apartment building located in the Rego Park section of Queens, a dense residential neighborhood along the Queens Boulevard corridor characterized by mid-rise apartment buildings with integrated street-level commercial uses. The structure is of reinforced concrete and steel construction, with concrete floor slabs supported by a structural frame designed to support mixed-use occupancies. The exterior building envelope is composed primarily of masonry façade systems with glazed window assemblies, typical of cooperative residential construction in this area. The building is finished with a flat roof system, utilizing a membrane roofing assembly with perimeter parapets and rooftop features commonly associated with mid-rise cooperative apartment buildings.
