Project Scope
EOC provided integrated architectural and structural consulting services to support the comprehensive retrofit of the building’s exterior façade. The project was initiated to modernize the building envelope, improve its architectural character, and address long-term performance and constructability considerations. Ownership sought multiple design approaches to evaluate potential upgrades to the façade system while balancing aesthetic goals with technical feasibility. EOC developed a series of conceptual renderings representing several façade retrofit alternatives, enabling ownership to compare variations in architectural expression, material systems, and overall composition. Each design option was evaluated for structural compatibility with the existing building, constructability constraints, and associated construction cost implications, providing a clear understanding of the technical and financial trade-offs between alternatives. Upon selection of a preferred retrofit scheme, EOC prepared the required architectural and structural construction drawings to advance the project into implementation. Throughout construction, EOC performed field inspections and construction-phase observations to confirm that the façade work was executed in accordance with the approved design documents and overall design intent.
